Applications include co-polymerizable stabilizer within aqueous vinyl acetate / acrylate / VeoVa® / acrylic / EVA / styrene based dispersions: those waterbased resins are used as binders in coatings and adhesives with superior stability and improved scrub and water resistance.
This monomer is also used in the production of ion-exchange and desalting membranes, scale inhibitors, and drilling fluids. Additionally, it is an intermediate for photo-chemicals and bio-buffers.
