At Proviron we believe in creating a better world with sustainable farming, healthy animals and less use of antibiotics. By developing and producing innovative products we want to contribute to this belief.
Esterification and special coating technology are our core business. Our product range consists out of coated calcium & sodium butyrates, esters of fatty acids (SCFA and MCFA*) and our special health concepts.
Our feed additives have been carefully studied and tested, showing a positive impact on animal performance and product handling. Our products will boost the immune system and/or gut health of the animal. A better developed animal gut combined with superior animal health, optimizes nutrient uptake and enhances protection from pathogen, resulting in improved animal performance, lower mortality and reduced use of antibiotics.
Proviron is an established name in the chemical sector, started in 1977. Since we as Proviron are experts in chemical processes for more then 45 years, our esters are well known in the market because of their high purity.
Our health ‘concept’ product line consists out of specific patented blends of these high quality esters of fatty acids. Since 2024, a new product range is added to our product portfolio, called Ultra-Gut. The Ultra-Gut product line is
based on calcium & sodium butyrates with a specific matrix coating, resulting in the slow release of butyrate throughout the animals gastrointestinal tract.
Our feed additives serve to improve the intestinal health of animals. In this way, we are committed to animal welfare. Not only because healthy animals perform better, but also for the animals themselves.
