Global price increase
Proviron Fine Chemicals is to increase the price of its products, effective globally as of July 1, 2008.
Over the last years, Proviron Fine Chemicals has been exposed to significantly rising costs, which it has absorbed to the full extent. However, we are no longer able to withstand the pressure caused by the extraordinary rise in cost of energy, raw materials, transportation and regulatory expenses. Therefore, it is necessary to compensate for these increases and to allow improvement in operating margins, which have been compressed to unsustainable levels. This price review is applicable to the current terms with all customers.
Products affected by this measure are:
- Benzene Sulphonyl Chloride (BSC): price +15%,
- Butyl Benzene Sulphonamide (BBSA): price +20%,
- Diphenyl Sulphone (DPS): price + 10%,
- Sodium Vinyl Sulphonate 25% (NVS or SVS): price +25%.
