Quality
A very high level reference
Proviron standards on both raw material intake and product delivery are particularly high and are rigorously maintained at all events. Only that way can you build a confidence based relationship with even the most demanding customers. Quality complaints are very rare.
It is our basic aim to value the quality of products, processes and supporting services such as logistics as one of the stars on the Proviron front in line with other company areas. In 2007 we achieved our objectives in all quality aspects (quality assurance), including intrinsic product quality, logistics organisation and commercial support. We have learned to recognise the external quality “booby-traps” which may surface totally unexpectedly, and consequently defuse them by means of logical procedures.
Pharmaceuticals and food
Because of their particular purpose, ingredients production for the pharmaceutical and food i industries are subjected to GMP (good manufacturing practices). This is also the case for animal feed. We easily obtained the GMP certificate which is strictly controlled by among others the Federal Food Chain Safety Agency. Countries such as Belgium which have had to deal with past problems in the food chain, now boast a particularly detailed legislation which is rigorously applied. Risks which can be assessed must be controlled, and that’s what we do.
A demanding customer is king too
Not all markets are as flexible and understanding in case of a complaint. At Proviron every complaint is given ample attention no matter how improbable the cause may seem or how unfounded the complaint may appear. That is true even in cases which are absolutely certain to have nothing to do with Proviron handling. How else can you interpret complaints about incorrect stacking in an aeroplane; or loose pellets underneath a completely sealed big bag (a large bag of reinforced plastic); or a parasite carried along on treated pallets? Indeed, not everything can be assessed in advance.
Quality agreements
With some of our large “sensitive products” customers, e.g. in the pharmaceutical sector, we annually sign quality agreements. These are pretty extreme, but we honour them and there are never any problems. Our total quality system is a strong instrument to earn and keep the customer’s confidence.
