Biodiesel at Proviron

Proviron has started the production of biodiesel in Oostende, Belgium. The construction of the biodiesel plant took 10 months. At full capacity the plant will employ 15 people directly and will produce 100 000 tonnes of biodiesel per year. Proviron’s research and engineering teams have developed the used production technology in-house.

The investment is being made as a result of the Proviron strategy to develop a range of products out of renewable raw materials.
