Biodiesel at Proviron

Proviron is producing biodiesel in Oostende, Belgium. The investment is being made as a result of the Proviron strategy to develop a range of products out of renewable raw materials.

Today we are investing in algae research, driven by the fact that algae are the fastest growing oil producing organisms. They can grow in salt water and don't need fertile land. These characteristics position algae as ideal candidates for the production of biodiesel or other bulk chemicals.
